Hey beautiful people !
I know it’s been a while, and frankly the promise to myself that I made about over a year ago failed really really horribly, but what matters is that I’ve returned and I’m back for good.
To those of who that are unaware of who I am and what I do, I guess I’ll give you a little back story. I’m in my third year of university now, and the situation I’m in , is a I’ve-got-to-work-to-pay-for-my-school situation. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but when I have to switch from dedicating my early mornings to video creation to morning shifts at work, there’s little to no time for creative thinking for content i want to post on my channel. It sucks, but that’s just reality I guess. However, during the holidays 2 years ago was when I started my youtube channel, and the holidays are always a time for me to reminisce and be inspired for lots of content. The hard part about that, Is the upkeep.
I struggle with it because though I dont have NEARLY as many followers/subscribers as some of the major beauty “gurus” (ugh, I hate that word) out there, I still put lots of thought, and effort into the content I post. I dont want to post videos/blogs just because I said I would, I want to put my blood sweat and tears into my work because that’s what I’m passionate about.
So I guess you can say its a resolution and goal for me to post more regularly, with the most original content I can possibly think of. Now, having said that- the next post on mallexandra is going to be a looooooooooong bunch of posts about my latest videos; not all of them since my last post on here but just enough so you can see how my channel has grown since I started “writing” this blog.
